Certainly the one in the market that is the form horse and has less question marks than his rivals - is he top top quality and can win a gold cup .... personally I don’t think so , but there again I’m struggling to tell you what can .
One thing you do know is that native river will never let you down

What WSS said.... I've won far far far more on my own judgement on the gee gee's than I ever have so called nods and winks from people in the know... my MATE lived on his Alderbrook pile on for the CH for years and never got another right after that ... last seen £125k in debt and in prison... my other MATE has got a horse with George Scott... speaking to him yesterday at football and even he says he's staying away from George's inside tips as it's costing him a fortune !!

lowermarshhammer.... I watch loads of racing and don't have a bet... I mean you ain't never going to get rich backing Frankel, Winx, Zenyatta, Altior and co but get as much pleasure watching them as I do having a few quid on a 10/1... sport firs...t betting second for me...

If you want to make money out of horseracing this is my starting point.

EVERYONE IN THE SPORT TALKS ABSOLUTE SHIT.

Trainers, jockeys, journalists, owners, they all talk shit. So many mug punters hang on every word these pricks talk about.

If you follow the racing, trust your own judgement, not somebody else's.

Re: Cheltenham Festival 2019
Betting half decent amounts of money on nags is perhaps the ultimate way to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune.

Never really been into the nags much myself.

Surely it is better to chuck what you can afford to squander on just the one future Irish meat pie rather than splitting it between several donkeys in multiple different races?

Really unsure about people who say they follow the racing because they love the sport but don't punt on it but only because I like their brazen faced audacity to talk significant amounts of steaming manure. Clearly they are bullshitting and must run at a hefty loss.

Best of luck with your bets to those who punt.

I personally think that there will be a big price winner of the Gold Cup this year, nothing stands out at me based on runs this year

Eh?? Not impressed with Clan Des Obeaux?????

Surely sir Eric is going to go off very short they reckon he is going back to the flat as well

Samcro was 'not right' because the owners have made a fuck up and wont admit to it by trying him as a Champion Hurdle horse. There was nothing wrong with him I bet, just saves them face.

Funny how Apples Jade is now their number one Champion Hurdle horse and Samcro is suddenly okay and will go Stayers

Re: Cheltenham Festival 2019
That's what everyone thought, but then all of a sudden last week Gordon Elliot suggested he has made a quicker recovery than expected and could be seen this season at Aintree. When questioned on whether Cheltenham was still ruled out, Elliot said no and it would depend on how he improves in the next 10 days, but if he were to make cheltenham it would be the stayers as isn't quick enough for Champ Hurdle.

Delta Work in RSA is a good thing in my book, gutsy with course and distance form.

I personally think that there will be a big price winner of the Gold Cup this year, nothing stands out at me based on runs this year

Flannel... well one I think is a good thing is Champ in the Ballymore (I imagine he'd go there?)... my one Ante post is a tenner on Paisley Park in the stayers... I got 6/1 IIRC... lot of things all still up in the air regarding where horses will be plying their trade... I really like Delta Work but will be guessing if he's RSA bound??

Flannel 2:01 Mon Feb 18
Re: Cheltenham Festival 2019
Agree - considering the class of horses it destroyed would have been an interesting runner.

Still remains unclear what the likes of Min and UDS are going to be entered into. Plus will Samcro be thrown into the Stayers at the last minute?

Whats your nap for the week at the moment?

Yeah stick them up normally an entertaining read... normally have my own ideas of who to back but always ineteresting hearing the so called `insider' info ...

Cyrname deffo looks like not going to the Festival... Nicholls thinks horse has a problem going left handed so won't be risked... real shame as that was Secretariat like performance on Saturday....

Anyone going to any preview nights this year and happy to share on here - I have one this Thursday so will post hopefully on the Friday.

BattleoverDoyen - Ballymore 6/1
Defi Du Seuil - RSA Chase 11/1
Min - Champion Chase 8/1
Fox Norton - Ryanair Chase - 10/1
Wonder Laish - Coral Cup - 14/1

Obviously Buvoir Dair and Altior will win their races, but I think that will be my EW Canadian for the Festival

Re: Cheltenham Festival 2019
Just had a small 40/1 ew on The Big Dog for the Albert Bartlett, first bet this year on the festival in fact since I dont think I won a good antepost bet since The Fellow and thats not today or yesterday. All joking aside the Big Dog is running at the weekend and its price may shorten if all goes according to plan. great name otherwise good fun for commentators i'd imagine. "And the Big Dog is closing in on the leaders and the Big Dog hits the front" or the Big dog is gone at the first

Very interesting listening to paul Nichols on Racing Talk with Matt Chapman on Sunday... reckons Frodon is the best jumper he has ever had ... never misses a beat... reckons not got the pace to win an Ryan Air but can deffo put in a bit of training to easily see out the GC extra furlong from last Saturday... said he would be very disappointed if he was not in the mix for a place... currently 25/1??
